THIS SUMMER LIZZO TRANSPORTS US TO THE ANTILLES WITH ITS NEW COLLECTION

The Antilles were the first lands encountered by Christopher Columbus on his search for the New World. This large group of archipelagos consists of the Bahamas, the Greater Antilles and the Lesser Antilles, which lie between the Caribbean Sea and the Indian Ocean. The light and the breezes that blow over these islands and the indigenous culture of their original inhabitants were the starting point for creating a sparkling, luminous collection, which adds a light touch of elegance and sophistication to any decorative scheme. The designs are based on basic, natural colours, with a harmonious, relaxing appearance.

BARBADOS is a flowing wool net which falls beautifully, showcasing a brilliant geometric design. The mountainous island of MARTINIQUE is of volcanic origin and lends its name to a rich refined fil coupe, while DOMINIQUE, a Jacquard net with a washed, aged finish, is a rich, brilliant design inspired by this island’s leafy forests and jungles. Our trip through the Antilles continues in the BAHAMAS, with a thick, matte satin with sparkles that remind us of the 700 islands that make up this archipelago. The island of CURAZAO, named after the miraculous cures that took place here, has inspired a delicate, pleated linen, as fresh as the Trade Winds that blow in the area. Then there’s ARUBA, a modern option with shiny, transparent threads that remind us of this island’s white, sandy beaches. This collection also includes TOBAGO, a simple linen with a basic, natural appearance. Lastly, the mountainous isle of JAMAICA inspires a soft cotton fabric, so simple that it is perfect for a multitude of decorative schemes from the modern, avant-garde styles to rustic and traditional arrangements.
