DISCOVER ARTIGIANA COLLECTION BY LIZZO

Our enormous appreciation of handicrafts is brought to the fore by this rustic, natural-looking collection. It revives the essence of traditional ways of life, many almost lost through the years, and brings back a specific aesthetic that lies between design and art. Rugs and tapestries created thread by thread, tools forged with the blacksmith’s soul, embroideries dating back to time immemorial and earthenware and clay pots fashioned by graceful hands.

Artigiana comes in four comprehensive colour ranges: the first features shades of mustard, aged red and olive greens. Another offers us subtle combinations of white and a whole range of blues, of different intensities and with interesting nuances. The third features neutral tones such as grey, beige and sand. Lastly, there’s a vivid combination of vivid oranges, fuchsias and greens.

This collection takes us on a journey that starts in MOLDAVIA, a European country with a significant traditional craft sector, the most important of which are its famous carpets. Our interpretation of these skills is a thick wool jacquard featuring a typical floral motif. JARAPA, on the other hand, is inspired by a thick fabric used by Arabs in days gone by to make bedspreads, blankets, rugs and curtains. This contrasts with FRAGUA, a washed Jacquard with a metallic appearance that transports us back to a traditional blacksmith’s workshop and its sparking furnace. Our trip through traditional ways of life takes us to LOZA, a product inspired by vintage domestic crockery made with fired clay and decorated with floral motifs in several shades of the same colour. A typical embroidered motif from India and Pakistan inspired PHULKARI, a Jacquard with a geometric pattern stitched by hand by local women to make cloaks, shawls and turbans. TERRACOTA is a matt velvet with a natural, distressed look, which comes in a number of shades.
